P-38 Lightning

Nicknamed 'The Fork Tailed Devil', it was the fastest production twin-engined American fighter in 1944.

The P-38 features a light weight all wood fuselage and is modeled in a highly detailed "weathered look" covering. The kit includes a professionally painted fiberglass cowls and composite air scoops. To add to the realism of this plane the kit also features a working flap system. The additional available retracts and oleo struts together with the full functional gear doors, further enhance the scale looks of this amazing Warbird.
